How do I book my classes?
When it comes to admin, Flex Pilates believes in the “Work smarter not harder” philosophy. This is why we use Bookamat online scheduling system. Bookamat allows you to book and manage your class packages and bookings when it’s convenient for you. No need to wait for a call back, just book when you want to. For details, have a look at the user guide.
What is your Cancellation Policy?
Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours before the class starts.
Late cancellations or no-shows will result in the loss of a session.
Please note that many of our classes have a waitlist. If you cancel late or do not show up, it prevents other clients from filling the spot, which disrupts the class schedule and may impact other members. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to this policy.
Private Sessions:
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session.
Late cancellations will result in the full session fee being charged.
Clients who repeatedly cancel late or no-show may have their booking privileges restricted.
How many classes should I take per week??
For optimal results, we recommend attending 2-3 Pilates classes per week. However, this varies based on your goals and schedule. Our instructors will guide you on a program that works best for you.
What do I need to bring to class?
We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that allows for movement. Please bring a pair of grip socks for hygiene and safety. You may need a towel for the higher intensity classes. We provide all necessary equipment such as reformers, mats, and props. PLEASE no perfume, body lotion, body oil or anything that cause you to slip or damage our equipment.
Can I do Pilates if I have an injury or recovering from surgery?
Absolutely. Pilates is one of the best movement methods for injury recovery, post-op rehab, and building strength safely—but only when done with proper support.
If you’re recovering from surgery or managing an injury, you’ll need to start with private sessions. This gives us the chance to assess your movement, understand your limitations, and tailor a plan that actually supports your healing.
Group classes are not permitted until:
You’ve been cleared by your medical provider, and
You’ve had an assessment and green light from Crystal
This policy protects your recovery and respects the experience of other clients in class. If you're unsure where you fall, just reach out—we’ll guide you from there.
Can I attend Pilates while pregnant or postpartum
Yes—with the right guidance, Pilates is one of the best ways to support your body through pregnancy and postpartum recovery.
If you’re expecting or recently had a baby, you’ll need medical clearance from your healthcare provider before starting or continuing sessions with us.
We offer specialized pre- and postnatal sessions when available, and our instructors are trained to modify movement to meet your needs. If those classes aren’t currently running, we recommend booking private sessions so we can tailor everything specifically to you.
What if I’m new to Pilates and don’t know where to start
No problem—everyone starts somewhere, and we’re here to guide you.
If you’re new to Pilates (and not dealing with an injury or any movement restrictions), you can start with a beginner-level class, or book a private session to get personalized support from the start.
We’ll walk you through the basics, help you get familiar with the equipment, and make sure you feel confident before progressing into group sessions. Our goal is to help you move well, not just go through the motions.
